2012 Nissan Sport Cars GT-R EGOIST Created by Takumi

Nissan announced the car would get an exclusive luxury package called EGOIST, which tacks on almost the cost of another GT-R to the price tag. Each customer can choose a combination of interior colors among 20 choices. EGOIST is the first and only Nissan GT-R in the world exclusively created by Takumi, or “master with greatest skills”. In addition, the Bose® sound system is exclusively tuned according to the driving position of each driver to meet every customer’s needs. This is the ultimate expression of the Nissan GT-R.
Egoist takes a dry carbon rear spoiler (also used in the SpecV). A stable aerodynamic performance even when driving with more than 300 kilometers per hour, rear spoiler gives an intense look in the back with black carbon paint.
Lightweight and highly rigid forged aluminum wheels, used in the SpecV to reduce unsprung weight and contribute to a smooth driving experience. Newly developed five layers Blue Sword Chrome Color Coating adopted. 2012 Nissan Sport Cars GT-R EGOIST Created by Takumi uses a Titanium exhaust system, also used in the SpecV, providing agile accelerator response and a clear, exhilarating exhaust sound.

Interior parts aired to attack Company, Inc. Muelheim an der Ruhr in Germany and leather master artificers run and stick a carefully selected by the player skin bridge. Inducts are exclusive designs coated with the single and double crochet patterns are incorporated in reticular approach. The high consistency of performance grip (suitable for driving racing circuit), a smooth and approve all provided. Nissan also says the parts are hand made in Germany to add a little prestige to the hyper-expensive rocket.
The new car will come with the pumped-up engine that will power next year’s Nissan Sport Cars GT-R. The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 will unleash 520 bhp at 6400 rpm to all four wheels, while weighing in about 60 lb. less than the current car, thanks to lighter weight parts throughout the body. Peak torque, estimated at 452 lb.-ft., will be reached from 3200 to 5200 rpm. This means the car will be quicker than the current GT-R. The 2012 Nissan Sport Cars GT-R EGOIST will also have a more compliant suspension (via revised spring rates and slightly different geometry at the rear), while still being able to keep up with cars on the track. The interior will also have numerous key “Egoist” touches.
The car will be delivered to customers in December. The price of the GT-R Egoist is set at about 14,000,000 yen or $150,000, roughly $50,000 more than a stock GT-R and about $10,000 less than a Spec V. The company plans to only sell about 10 cars per month. Nissan U.S.A. has offered no comment about the Egoist and maintains that the only GT-R the company will be selling in the U.S in 2011 is the stock one, so don’t expect the Egoist or Spec V to come this way anytime soon.

Functional Family Mobility meets Style with all-new 2011 Nissan Quest

Nissan releases first full images of minivan’s return to the line-up

Today, Nissan Canada Inc. released the first glimpse of the much anticipated, all-new, next generation 2011 Nissan Quest minivan. Available in Canadian showrooms in early 2011, the new Quest follows Nissan’s commitment to bold, segment-leading design and will provide consumers with the size, safety, functionality and comfort that a minivan has to offer – without sacrificing style or driving pleasure.

“The new Nissan Quest will provide those looking for functional family mobility with a stylish, sophisticated choice not often thought of in the minivan segment,” said Mark McDade, Director, Marketing, Nissan Canada. “Nissan recognized it was time to provide the market with more than just a ‘people-mover’ and with the new Quest we’ve done just that.”

The 2011 Nissan Quest minivan is designed to present a new paradigm in family mobility. Along with top levels of quality and reliability, the all-new design is a unique combination of sophistication, security and thoughtful utility for both families and empty-nesters alike.

“This new Quest will be the answer for those who need the space of a traditional minivan, but don’t want to feel like they are driving one,” said McDade. “The images released today are just a preview of what to expect when Quest arrives next spring.”

2010 Nissan Sentra Review And Photos

With rather tall proportions for a sedan and a broadly arched roofline, the 2010 Nissan Sentra looks like a shorter, smaller car than it really is from a distance. Many of its cues, like the flared-outward headlamps and prominent flanks in at the top of the rear fenders, are borrowed from Nissan's larger Altima and Maxima.

Cars.com says, “The Sentra is a nice-looking car — young but not especially daring.” They note the sporty Sentra SE-R Spec V has "some very handsome exterior trim that says, but doesn't shout, performance." Motor Trend thinks it’s “like an IKEA appliance, attractive, modern, and perhaps just the furniture for your life”—then adds, “The new Sentra copies some of big-brother Altima's styling, especially its roofline/greenhouse, but by now it also looks like a Saturn Ion or Mazda3.”

Inside, the design is chunky and a bit more angular than you'll find in other new vehicles; a center stack of controls flows downward, housing the shifter, while upright seating affords a good view out. Edmunds notes the Sentra’s "uninspired but modern exterior design" is matched by its "functional interior."
